Aish Villa
Bed and Breakfast
Aish Villa is a bungalow set in 1/3 acre garden with wonderful views over the village and surrounding countryside and situated just a mile from the Tarka Trail and 0.5 miles from cycle routes 3 and 27, making it ideal for walkers and cyclists. It is also a good base for visiting the Moors, coast, Rosemoor, and larger centres such as Barnstaple, Exeter, Plymouth and the numerous local attractions.
Guests have a separate entrance to the accommodation, which comprises two twin rooms and one double room. One of the twins can be adapted to a family room and children and babies are welcome. There is one guests’ bathroom. Each room has central heating, colour TV, and refreshment tray. The conservatory is ideal for guest to relax in and enjoy a welcoming drink and cake on arrival. Most kinds of diets can be catered for by arrangement. The traditional breakfast offers a good choice and is hearty. There is no smoking in the rooms, though guests may smoke outside. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor games available for guests’ use.
The ample drive provides plenty of room for parking and there is safe storage for cycles.
It is regretted that pets can not be accommodated.
The local pub is within walking distance and provides good food at reasonable prices.
The accommodation is all on the ground floor and the rooms are a good size, but the bathroom is too small to take a wheelchair.
The shower is over the bath. There is a shaver point.
Wet clothes can be dried and a basic tool kit is held for cycle repairs.
