Southdown Farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and is set in the beautiful countryside of North Devon. Conveniently located at Yarnscombe, between Barnstaple (7miles) Bideford (8 miles) and Great Torrington (3miles), Our holiday Lets are perfectly positioned for exploring historic towns and rugged coastlines and are within 5 minute walk of North Devon quads and clay pigeon shooting at Southdown Adventure park and 10 minutes walk of Survival paintball for the more adventurous amongst you!
By choosing to stay in one of our fully equipped holiday premises you will discover the enchanting and beautiful surroundings of North Devon and be ideally situated to easily reach the many tourist attractions available around North and South Devon.
Our holiday cottages are situated in the rural countryside on the B3232 just after Alverdiscott, between Barnstaple, Bideford and Great Torrington. See map for location.
They are ideally situated for touring North Devon and are perfectly placed to explore our beautiful countryside.
We have two cottages, each are well equipped with bath, toilet, hand held shower, colour LCD TV/Freeview/video/dvd, microwave, fridge, and a cooker.
The cottages can both comfortably sleep up to four people with one double bed and one double sofa bed.
They have a modern fitted kitchen and they are tastefully decorated.
The cottages are placed on the farm courtyard and have a patio area and gardens with tables and chairs for our guests to use.
They may suit disabled: please telephone to discuss. They are all on one level and there is parking right outside the property, we have no stairs just one small step to go into the property.
4 day breaks for a cottage: 75% of week prices.
Mon- Thurs 10.30 am 10.30 am/ Thurs 3.00pm to Sun 3.00pm
We are non-smoking.
We do accept one small well-behaved pet, with a well-behaved owner!
You can book by email, telephone or online but reservations will need a 30% booking fee sent within 7 days and if there is less than 30 days for holiday commencement full payment will be expected with written confirmation of your booking sent to your booking address
